Valances, Panels, Shades, etc.
This shiny curtain is one of six in the corners of an elegant sunroom; valances run between these 90" long panels all around the room. White sheers peek out from under the panels. The "tiebacks" are actually strings of pearls, strung by the homeowners. A very dressy arrangement for a sunroom, but very beautiful.
These three rooms from the same house, have sets of double corner connecting windows that called for valances rather than panels or other arrangement. The views from this house are gorgeous, the windows up high. The embossed black valances are in the master bathroom; the pale blue linen valances in a bedroom; the beautiful ikat red medallions are in the sitting room. All of these fabrics were very high end quality and turned out beautifully!
This is a cute simple tie-up valance for
a church nursery having just this one window,
made from just one yard of fabric. A little clip-
on butterfly is perched on its top. The fabric is
white with little dots of many colors. A perfect
fit for this room.

Really nice ivory dupioni silk scooped valances across expansive
window overlooking pool. Tie ups keep lightly gathered scoops
in place. Customer wanted this window uncovered but with a little decor.

A single double sided muslin panel trimmed with ivory lace. Can be tied as shown or to either side with tieback, also trimmed in ivory lace. Simple but cute and functional to have either open or closed on bathroom window.
A very simple but substantial valance for a second floor office.
The bamboo shade can be pulled up under it, or let down to
control light or for privacy at night. Cute 2" head ruffle above
rod pocket and hems all around make this a simple but
elegant project!

A really fun design is a draw-up panel, that pulls to one side, or can be let down straight for privacy. Lots of gathers, and strategically placed rings and cording on the reverse side make this curtain similar to a shade. The cord is secured by looping it around a cute seahorse figure!
This cute pair of country style curtains in red checks, tabs for the rods, tiebacks are great in this log cabin's kitchen.
One set over the kitchen sink; the other on opposite wall. Looks great and gives color to the space.
